Marc Novakoff is Managing Director, Portfolio Manager and leads Jarislowsky Fraser’s emerging market equity portfolios. He is also a member of the Investment Strategy Council, the firm’s central risk and investment oversight body.

He has over 20 years of investment experience and has been with Jarislowsky Fraser since 2003, joining as a research analyst and then co-managing the firm’s global equities portfolios from 2012 to 2021; he has been leading the management of emerging market portfolios since 2015. He has covered a broad spectrum of sectors throughout the years and has built an extensive network of industry contacts in developed and emerging markets.

Marc holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Mechanical Engineering degree from McGill University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
