Steven Boisvert (Hiraguri) joined Dynamic Funds in 2025 as a Senior Portfolio Analyst working closely with Dana Love and the Core Equity team, with a focus on Japanese equities.

Steven was born and raised in Japan and spent more than 15 years working at a number of Japanese firms including automotive components firm KYB Corporation, fintech business Rakuten as well as Credit Suisse. Prior to joining Dynamic, Steven spent five years as an Investment Analyst at Burgundy Asset Management, based in Toronto, undertaking bottom-up, fundamental research on Asian equities with a focus on Japanese companies across all sectors.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Science (Business), Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management, and is a Level 2 CFA candidate.
