As Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Eric Mencke brings more than 30 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining Dynamic in 2016, Eric was Vice President & Portfolio Manager with the Canadian Equity team of a major Canadian mutual fund company from 2008 to 2016.
He was Co-Portfolio Manager on several mandates including Canadian Balanced Funds, Canadian Equity Funds, and a Canadian Dividend Fund with total assets under management of approximately $4 billion. Eric began his investment industry career in May 2000 at TD Newcrest as an Equity Research Analyst covering cable, telecom, and media stocks. Before beginning his career in investment management, Eric was an Audit Manager in the Assurance & Advisory Business Services Department at Ernst & Young LLP.
Eric received both a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative & Commercial Studies from Western University, and a Diploma in Accounting from Wilfred Laurier University in 1995. He’s a CFA charterholder and earned his CPA, CA, designation in 1999.
