Oscar Belaiche joined Dynamic in 1997 and is the Chair and founder of the 22-member Equity Income team which manages approximately $48 billion in assets.
His team’s investment process focuses on owning quality businesses at a reasonable price (QUARP®) through securities that pay a dividend or distribution. Capital preservation is an important component of their investment process. The team has in-depth knowledge in all 11 GICS sectors and multi-alternatives by country and region, which has enabled them to offer a broad range of income-generating products.
Oscar has over 40 years of business, operational and investment experience as a money manager, asset manager, developer and corporate banker.
Oscar graduated in 1980 with an Honours BBA from the University of Western Ontario. He has his CFA designation and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
