Jason Gibbs

Jason Gibbs joined Dynamic in 2000. He’s a Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager, and Co-Head of the Equity Income team.

He has over 23 years of industry experience and has been integral in the growth of the 22-member team that manages approximately $48 billion in assets for retail and institutional investors. Jason and team take a disciplined approach to investing in quality businesses at a reasonable price (QUARP®) and focus on securities that pay a dividend or distribution. Capital preservation is an important component of their investment process. The team has in-depth knowledge in all 11 GICS sectors and multi-alternatives by country and region – Canada, U.S. and Global.

Jason began his career with the portfolio management team in 2002, initially as an analyst covering a broad range of sectors. This served him well when he was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2007 as the team was innovative in expanding their lineup of income-generating solutions beyond equity and balanced funds to include many specialty and sector-focused portfolios. He was instrumental in the launch of two successful infrastructure-related mandates.

Jason received his Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University. He’s CPA and CA as well as a CFA charterholder.
