Jim Morris joined the firm in 2000 and was appointed Managing Director, Investment Management of Scotia Global Asset Management Canada in 2013.
Jim is responsible for the development and oversight of our team of portfolio managers, analysts and traders. In addition to managing our investment team, Jim is responsible for investment risk, oversight of internal and external investment managers, and investment management solutions.
With over 25 years of industry experience, he's held progressively senior roles in finance, investment operations, product management and executive leadership.
Jim graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honors Bachelor of Commerce and Economics. He holds both CPA and CMA designations.
