Don Maclean joined Scotia in 2009 and is the Regional Vice President of Sales for Ontario, Canada, managing sales teams based throughout the province.
Having worked in the industry since 1994, Don brings a broad set of knowledge to our sales teams, having held positions in Private Placements, Currency Trading, Bond Trading, Equity Research and as a PM while with Wood Gundy in the late 90s. Prior to taking on the role of RVP, Don assisted advisors at Dynamic by constructing sound portfolios for their practices, which provided the returns their clients demanded while at the same time constraining risk to acceptable levels.
Don holds a BCom degree with Honours in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal and has been a CFA charterholder since 1997.
