Alexandre Mathieu joined Dynamic in 2012 as a member of the Specialized Credit Team, specializing in quantitative analysis on fixed income investments. In 2018 he was promoted to Senior Portfolio Analyst and subsequently to Associate Portfolio Manager in 2025.
Alexandre has more than 20 years of industry experience, which includes quantitative and portfolio management responsibilities at a major Canadian financial investment management firm, and risk management advisory responsibilities at the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec. He has extensive knowledge of fixed income derivatives. His previous experience also included asset/liability management at Laurentian Bank.
Alexandre holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) Montréal University and a master’s degree in Financial Engineering/Portfolio Management from the University of Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Alexandre is an FRM charterholder.
